Cholula, Puebla, Mexico Engagement Photography | E-Session: Alex & Ivan
Alex & Ivan of Cholula in Puebla, Mexico won the CDMX Shoot Giveaway we held this past October on our Facebook page and we're SO glad they did! Our session in this Pueblo Mágico turned into a wild ride, leading up to knee high water from flash flooding and providing awesome photo opps.
Aside from providing these love bugs with some beautiful photos to commemorate their 5th anniversary of loving one another, it also gave them an opportunity to come out of their shell and get comfortable with P.D.A. - even if by force! 😜
In a largely conservative Catholic city like Puebla, it's not always easy for gay couples to feel accepted in public - but we were all delightfully surprised at how people were responding. They were intrigued but in a really loving way. It's hard to deny how cute these two are together, anyway - let's be honest!

What I love about working with real couples is hearing their stories and realizing how unique yet how very alike we are, all at once.
Walking back into town to grab a coffee... the rain started. and it didn't stop.
We took shelter in a bank for over TWO HOURS, during which we purchased umbrellas and took pics in the rain. One was faulty....

Agradezco tanto la apertura que tuvieron conmigo. Me sentí en confianza muy rápido y se prestaron para la sesión, aunque les costó un poco -- al final ya fluyó todo y logramos captar unos momentos muy tiernos y reales.
Gracias gracias por todo - ya sé que siempre cuando estoy en Puebla los buscaré para un cafe y ricos postres - que aun me faltan probar los de Alex!
